Founder & CEO, Cara Federici

Bringing more than 15 years’ experience as a seasoned hotelier, brand creator and implementer, Cara Federici, and her firm, The Madison Melle Agency, are responsible for ideating and bringing to life some of the country’s most exciting, forward-thinking boutique hotel brands and luxury high-rise residences. Federici’s current portfolio includes an array of development companies, management firms and individual owner properties, including highly sought after, world renown hoteliers and their teams.

Federici’s collective experience is derived from having worked under some of the world’s most notable names within their respective industries, including Brad Korzen, Kor Group and Proper Hospitality, André Balazs, Standard Hotels, and Jim Lippman, JRK Property Holdings. Prior to starting The Madison Melle Agency, Federici excelled across several positions in the hospitality industry. She formerly served as Vice President, Global Hotel Brand Management and Vice President, Operations for The Americas portfolio at Cachet Hospitality. Before that, Federici was pre-opening and operating General Manager for Proper Hospitality, as well as Vice President of Room Sales and Hotel Operations for real estate developer and interior designer, Avi Brosh.

Federici has been published in industry-leading outlets including Hospitality Interiors, Sleeper Magazine, Boutique Design, The Hustle Daily, Tech.Co, and The Native Influence. She has spoken at national events including Stay Boutique Live and Hospitality Design’s HD Expo.

Federici attended Parsons School of Design in New York City and graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University, with a Bachelor of the Arts in Communications, and a double minor in Business and Art Studio. Currently based in Southern California, she and her staff assemble to create a strategic team for each unique project as they continue to shape the landscape for boutique hotel and residential brands.
